Director, scriptwriter and cinematographer. After graduating from film schools in Ljubljana and Berlin, he enrolled in the postgraduate program at Le Fresnoy - National Studio for Contemporary Art. As a director of photography, he collaborates with filmmakers from across the region, such as Matjaž Ivanišin (Playing Men, Oroslan), Igor Bezinović (Fiume o morte! - Tiger Award IFFR 2025), Nebojša Slijepčević (The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent - Short Film Palme d'or 2024). Since 2008, he's been researching old and endemic fruit varieties. In collaboration with farmers from the Italo-Slovene borderland, he planted a gene-bank orchard and edited a book listing each found variety and the stories connected with them. Photos from his botanical travels were exhibited at solo exhibitions in France and Slovenia in 2024 and 2025.
